Age caps or limits in figure skating competitions.?


The united states figure skating association has age limits that say you cannot compete in certain competitions if you are to young. Does anyone know if there is an age limit for being to old to compete? Please include credible back up links.

yes. you must be under 17 for most levels, except for Senior. And juvenile level you must be under 13. (there is an open juvenile level for skaters older than thirteen, though)
When you enter a competition, it states what the age limit is for each level. It really depends on what competition you are going to, though. Some of them have no age limits, while others have them on every level.
