~figure skating~ how do i improve my spins and increase my velocity?

Im a pre-alpha trying to learn how to do a basic spin (2 footed) i keep my arms tucked in and i keep my feet together, but i can only get 1 or 1 1/2 revolutions, and its REALLY slow... how can i fix this??

How do I measure myself for a snowboard?

try doing a pivot into your spin, and then pull in very tight, you should get about five more revolutions, and your spin will get better in time
it also helps to stay on the balls of your feet, it's the best place to spin on

bring your arms and legs in closer to each other. also, it helps to be going fast.
