Anyone know of anyone or how to find someone to play tennis and teach me?

Im from St Louis and need to find someone to play tennis with but alos help me progress. Does anyone know how to find a partner or know of anyone looking for one?

Which type of player would you rather play?

see if there is a usta "welcome center" near you. thats a good starting point. also, see if your city or town runs any tennis programs or clinics, and check with any tennis clubs that may be near you.

the easiest way to find people to play with you, at your skill level, is to sign up for all the clinics / group lessons that you can find. the instruction in that setting may or may not be very good, but it gets you started. after a while you will find a teaching pro at one of the clinics or group lessons that you like and you can start doing some lessons.

and don't be afraid to just wander over to the public courts with a racket and some tennis balls. a lot of tennis nuts will happily spend 30 minutes or an hour with an absolute beginner.

good luck!

What is your opinion on the new Wilson nBlade tennis racket?
