I wonder how Cullen would have performed in the 2006 All Black backline. Just think about it Cullen, Rokocoko and Sivivatu in full flight.
When is the super 14 final kick-off? And what channel is it showing on in the UK?
I think with the form he had back in the day that would be the most deadly back three of all time. Pace, Power and a shed load of tries. All three have high tries to game ratio's as well which makes it even better. Cullen was an awesome support runner too which means any breaks would be converted into tries. Shame there would be no place for Rico Gear though.
Has RUGBY got anything to do with BUGRY?
since CC has not passed fitness tests and is passed his prime , i cant say i agree. i do not mean to offend CC. He was a great footballer. but...very few backs are great in their 30's. I'll use the aussies as an example. Greegan.Larkham and Latham as examples. all world class but now on the decline as they are all 30+. This is 1 good reason they wont win RWC07.
Cullin in his prime conjures up pictures of a try scoring maniac, combine that with the deadly speed of the cousins and you end up with an absolute try fest. Cullin was an amazing line breaker and creative player, he would have added even more obscene attacking abilities than what the Blacks already have. But like one answer mentioned: He is past his prime, it is nice though to visualize what it would have been like.
