Any American ever played in NRL?

Is this unfair?

Their have been players from England, Lebanon, Fiji, South Africa, Wales, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, Samoa but no americans!

Who thinks there hot?

Yes. Manfred Moore played a number of games for Newtown in the late 70s. The experiment, backed financially by John Singleton, met with mixed success. Moore did some amazing things, but his overall lack of experience in the game saw him wanting.

Moore has reflected on his experience and enjoyed it immensely. However his foray into the NRL was not a precedent for other Americans to play the game.
