Does anyone in the Cambridge (UK) know where a boxing gym is? And if so which is the best one?

61 bouts
56 wins
5 losses
Only losses :Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks, Larry Holmes, Trevor Berbick
The left jab, combinations, and incredible speed and footwork.

He had classics with Joe Frazier. His greatest bouts were against Sonny Liston I, George Foreman, and he had good battles with Ken Norton - probably his toughest opponent next to Joe Frazier.

Ali was the first heavyweight to regain the title on 3 separate occasions. And for the guy (smalltd28) who said Ali was not the greatest pound-for-pound ever, I respect your opinion, but that's crazy to say that. I'd say 95% of the people you ask will say Ali was the best pound-for-pound. Take away the last two losses late in his career and you'll see that he avenged the other three losses.

Is the boxing on OLN / Vs. going to be only with Top Rank promotions?

dang i always watched Ali's boxing too, and can't answer any of your questions.. i just know he was a great fighter.. and really made boxing what it is today.. popular sport.. his daughter now boxes.. i do know Ali had his jaw broken in one of the fights, and continued 2 box it out, till the end.. and boxing was 15 rounds back then.. it might of been Norton, that broke Ali's jaw.. and i do know Ali won most of the fight's he was in..he brought entertainment 2 the ring : )

What are examples of what would be on a written test for boxing seconds in Nevada?

the new espn the magazine has a good article on cassius clay, you may want to read. he had 61 fights he was 56 and 5, i know he lost to fraizer but in not sure who else beat him, i know late in his career he should have retired but he kept fighting and lost a lot.. he used the rope a dope, where he would get on the ropes and just defend and act tired then come out swinging, he definatly was not the greatest boxer ever, and pound for pound not the best, but he was the most exciting and outspoken boxer, his frazier fights were awesome all 3.

Floats like a butterfly.stings like a bee.

Am I on crazy pills? How can anybody believe Oscar beat Mayweather?

Great Job DJ on the stats. But (smalltd28) I cannot believe why ayone who is old enough to have seen Ali in his prime would even question if he was the greatest pound-for-pound boxer ever. In my opinopn Ali was the greatest becasue he knew how to dismantle his opponent, sometimes befor the right ever started.

Yes, he should've retired much sooner and maybe he would've avoided some illnesses he's facing now. We'll never know. But he had it all - brains, speed, power, tall, long reach, effectvei jab, KO punch. No one has been better since him. Tyson proved to be too immature. Holyfied didn't have the KO punch, Lennox didn't have the charisma. The list goes on and on.
